Emma Huennekens

President

I am from Savannah, GA and was a Zeta Xi at Georgia Southern University. I graduated in 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Vocal Performance and has been involved with the Savannah VOICE Festival and Savannah Music Festival. I work at Berwick Animal Hospital and love being able to be surrounded by animals every day. I currently live in Pooler with my boyfriend. In college, I served as Strawberry Sales Chair, Music Chair, Alumnae-Collegiate Chair, and Judicial Committee. I am excited to be President which is the first position I’ve held in the Alumnae world. I love performing around Savannah and simply having fun enjoying this thing called Life! I hope that you will be involved in this amazing chapter.

VP of Membership

I grew up in Maryland and was part of the Iota Omega Chapter at University of Maryland. I graduated in 2013 with a B.S. in Environmental Science and now work at an Environmental Consultant, specializing in wetland ecology. I am also currently pursuing a Masters in Soil & Water Science from University of Florida, via their online distance education. My hobbies include brewing and drinking craft beer, DIY projects, reading, cooking, and getting out in nature. My husband and I live in Pooler with our giant labradoodle named Cooper. After moving to Savannah in August 2014, I first joined the the Savannah Alumnae Chapter, and quickly got involved! I thank this chapter for years of fun and many amazing friendships!

Julia Reitenbach

Service Chair

I am originally from the Philadelphia area and joined the Gamma Epsilon chapter during my time at the Pennsylvania State University. I graduated in 2015 with a B.S. in Marketing and a B.S. in Labor and Employment Relations and now work in Human Resources Consulting. I moved to Savannah in 2017 to join my now husband and immediately fell in love with the area. However, I was far from home and joined the Alumnae chapter to make some friends and get involved. A few short years later, I am taking on my first role within the EC and I'm excited for all this year has to bring!
